Job Description
  1. Customer Interface : Business development visits along with marketing Team , Technical discussions , Understanding customer needs and incorporating the same in product / process design. Project management co ordination.
  2. Product Design & Control: Designing of Solenoids / Sensors for Various applications related to Automotive , Industrial and White goods market , following national / International standards, product certification procedure etc. Preparation , Issue and control of all engineering documents like product drawings, specifications and data sheets, DVP & R , Test results and performance results , Engineering changes , product certification etc.
  3. RFQ Handling : Product Costing of plastic moulded items, sheet metal components , machines parts, standard parts, Process timings , Moulds and dies , Tools and fixtures , Assembly line and Inspection/ testing equipments etc.
  4. Process Engineering : Preperation of process flow diagram , design of of Tools and fixtures fixtures incorporating mistake proofs, Selection of process steps , Sequencing ,optimization of cycle times, process validation, process capability reviews etc.
  5. Product Development - Coordination with Cross functional Teams /Customers / suppliers for development o moulds , tools and fixtures.Completion of Product Inspection / Testing / Validations . Conducting Production trial runs abd ensuring conformance to technical specifications . Debugging product and process issues . Managing engineering changes.
  6. Quality Standards - Maintaining project update by following APQP , FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP procedures as per - ISO 9001 / TS 16949 and ISO 14001 & 18001 . Adherence and follow up of product certifications like UL , ATEX ,VDE and CE marks.
  7. Productionization : Co ordinate with CFT members to tranfer of new product to production after achieving targetted Tarining , cycle time , quality and capacity requirements.

Moulding Supervisor Manufacturing Department
